Gold Ends March With Another Jump Settling At Rs478762 Per Tola In Pakistan

KARACHI – Gold prices in Pakistan climbed to Rs4.49 Lac on August 6 amid sharp rally in the international bullion market.

As per Saraffa Market, the price of 24-karat gold surged by Rs11,300 per tola to reach Rs449,236, while silver also posted gains, extending the precious metals’ upward momentum.

The price of 10 grams of gold also witnessed a sharp increase of Rs9,688, reaching Rs385,147 amid the continued bullish trend in the precious metals market.

The latest surge follows Wednesday’s substantial rise of Rs10,000 per tola, when gold settled at Rs437,936, highlighting the rapid pace of gains over the past two trading sessions.

The rally was driven by a strong upswing in international markets, where gold prices climbed by $113 per ounce to $4,268, including a premium of $20. Rising global demand for safe-haven assets and stronger international bullion rates continued to fuel the domestic market’s upward trajectory.

Silver also joined the rally, with its price increasing by Rs35 per tola to reach Rs6,659, reflecting the broader strength across precious metals.
