Fully determined to establish lasting peace throughout province: Governor

Governor Balochistan Malik Abdul Wali Khan Kakar while expressing regret over the martyrdom of police personnel during an operation in Jacobabad said that we are determined to establish lasting peace throughout the province and the lives and property of the people. Protection is the responsibility of the government. We are sure that the blood of the police martyrs who protect the people will never go in vain.

For the sake of protecting people’s lives and property, we are also taking concrete steps to destroy those who spread fear and panic in the society. He directed to provide all the medical facilities for treatment to the injured policemen. Balochistan Governor Malik Abdul Wali Khan Kakar prayed for the forgiveness of the martyred policemen and the speedy recovery of the injured.

Meanwhile Balochistan Interior Minister Mir Ziaullah Longo has expressed regret over the martyrdom of police personnel in the operation against dacoits. Anti-social elements involved in terrorism, sectarianism, disruption of peace and extremism should be ensured. The Interior Minister further said that the mission of eliminating terrorism should be carried out with renewed determination.
