Senior leader of MuttahidaQoumi Movement (Pakistan), Dr. FarooqSattar, has emphasized the importance of unity and economic empowerment during the Pakistan Interior Furniture Expo 2024 at the Karachi Expo Center.
Dr. Sattar highlighted the need for collective action to address pressing issues and uplift the nation from economic challenges. Speaking to the media at the expo centre Karachi, Dr. Sattar commended the role of Governor Sindh, Kamran Tessori, in serving the people and stressed the importance of fairness and equality between the government and the opposition in facilitating initiatives for economic growth. Furniture expo, spanning three days from Friday to Sunday, aims to provide equal opportunities to all stakeholders, fostering an environment conducive to business growth and development.
Dr. Sattar underscored the significance of recognizing the furniture industry as a vital sector deserving of attention and support. He urged the government to provide incentives such as easy access to loans to furniture business owners, enabling the industry to flourish further and contribute significantly to the economy. With proper promotion and acceptance, the furniture sector could become a substantial contributor to Pakistan’s economy, potentially leading to a significant boost in exports.
