Former Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui Monday declared the written apology statement of former judge Rana Shamim filed in the court as a lie.
Former Justice Siddiqui in a tweet on Monday said that Former Chief Justice of Gilgit Biltistan Rana Shamim has filed an apology in the Islamabad High Court today. Former Justice Siddiqui said in his apology, that Rana Shamim told about the senior puisne judge instead of Justice Amir which is regrettable and condemnable. Former Justice Siddiqui using his social media platform declared Rana Shamim’s statement a slander and said Ex-Chief Justice Saqib Nisar never talked to him on this matter.—NNI
