Director General of Public Relations at the Information Department, Government of Sindh, Muhammad Saleem Khan, underscored the significance of liberty, particularly in light of the plight of stateless individuals.
Speaking at a Pakistan Day event organized by NCR-CET College in Karachi, Khan emphasized the need to educate youth about the importance of freedom and patriotism. Saleem Khan highlighted the oppression faced by nations without independent homelands, emphasizing the gratitude owed to the visionaries who secured Pakistan’s sovereignty.
Reflecting on the historical significance of March 23, 1940, Khan credited the dynamic leadership of Muhammad Ali Jinnah for the swift formation of Pakistan within seven years of the adoption of the Pakistan Resolution. Commending the fervor exhibited by students in expressing their commitment to the nation’s development, DGPR stressed the importance of extracurricular activities in fostering holistic growth among youth.
In an effort to encourage and recognize student achievement, Khan distributed prizes for the quiz competition and received a shield from NCR-CET Director Ghulam Mohammad. The event concluded with the hoisting of the national flag, symbolizing the unity and pride of the Pakistani nation.
