ISLAMABAD – Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) announced the results of the CSS Examination 2025, revealing an extremely low success rate that has sent shockwaves through aspirants across the country.
Out of 12,792 candidates who appeared in the prestigious Central Superior Services exam, only 355 candidates managed to clear the written examination stage, making overall pass percentage 2.67%.
CSS 2025 Results
The commission recommended a total of 170 candidates for appointment, comprising 84 male and 86 female candidates, with near-balanced gender representation among the successful qualifiers.
Asad Rafiq secured the first position, emerging as the overall topper of CSS 2025. Muhammad Mohsin claimed second position, demonstrating exceptional performance. Tariq Hafeez stood third, completing the top three rankings.
The top 30 position holders have been allocated to some of the most prestigious occupational groups, including the Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS) and the Police Service of Pakistan.
23 candidates from Punjab secured positions in the top 30. 2 candidates from Sindh made it to the top tier. 2 candidates from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) also featured in the list and 3 candidates from Balochistan completed the top 30 representation.
