Pakistan on Sunday reported seven deaths in the last 24 hours by the novel Coronavirus as the number of positive cases surged to 310,275 while, the tally of fatalities reached to 6,457.
According to the latest figures by the National Command and Operation Center 694 persons have been tested positive for Covid-19 in 24 hours.
Till now 135,766 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 99,128 in Punjab, 37,617 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 16,440 in Islamabad, 15,013 in Balochistan, 2,649 in Azad Kashmir and 3,662 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Meanwhile, Punjab has reported 187 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, up from 77 a day earlier, according to the government’s Covid-19 portal. This has taken the provincial tally of cases to 99,128. The province has also reported one more death from the virus, taking the total to 2,230. According to the portal, 95,314 people have recovered from coronavirus so far.
