Sindh Governor Imran Ismail participated on Monday in the campaign of distributing surgical masks among the people and shopkeepers in Zainab Market area, arranged by the Tiger Force. Commending the workers of Tiger Force, he said that the Tiger Force formed on the directives of the Prime Minister is working hard in this difficult hour. The force should inform everyone that wearing a surgical mask protects against Coronavirus. The Tiger Force has a key role to play in protecting the public from the coronavirus. He said that people in the bazaars have to wear masks and ensure social distance. The entire nation has to take precautionary measures against Coronavirus as social distance, surgical masks and other precautionary measures can defeat Corona. In this difficult time, we all have to show responsibility. The Prime Minister stands on the front line against the Corona virus and in line with his vision, the Prime Minister is pursuing a uniform policy across the country to protect against Corona. Mr Imran Ismail said severe lockdown is not possible in the whole country at once. We have to live with this virus and protect ourselves from it. “Today, the whole world is recognizing that lockdown is not the solution to the problem until the corona virus is vaccinated. It is a disease that people carry in their homes.” He said that the federation was cooperating in every possible way to protect the medical staff in the province from the coronavirus. In this difficult time, the medical staff is standing on the front line and the government is standing by them. Later talking to the media, the Sindh Governor Imran ismail said that the Tiger Force has started its service in the province by providing free masks to the buyers and shopkeepers. Replying to a question, the Governor said that the number of Tiger Force in Sindh is 156,000. After the provincial government did not take the services of this force, the Governor has been made in charge of it in the province while Tiger Force in other three provinces is working under the provincial government. When asked about complaints of overbilling by private hospitals, the governor said the matter would be thoroughly investigated and action would be taken against such private medical institutions if found guilty.
