British High Commissioner Thomas Drew calls on FM Qureshi

The British High Commissioner on Thursday called on foreign minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi in Islamabad.
According to details, FM apprised British envoy on human rights violations in occupied Kashmir and urged international community including United Kingdom to play a significant role in lifting curfew.
The foreign minister stated that people of Pakistan have great respect and honor for British royal family.
“We have immense respect in our hearts for British royal family and we are looking forward to the visit of Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton in Pakistan,” Qureshi said.
FM informed Mr. Thomas that Pakistan has made special arrangements with regard to the arrival of British Royal Couple.
He added that the visit will promote bilateral relations between the two countries.
The royal family is due to arrive in Pakistan on October 14. This is the first time since 2006 that a member of British royal family will be visiting the country.
