Bitcoin slips to $47,571 as cryptos turn bearish

The cryptocurrency market remained bearish on Monday, with the market capitalisation shedding 1.2 percent to reach $2.13 trillion as of 1300 hours GMT.

The price of bitcoin (BTC) shed 1.76 percent to reach $47,571. With this decrease in price, the mar-ket capitalisation of the biggest cryptocurrency slipped to $894.4 billion.

The investors remain wary ahead of the month’s end expiry of $1.8 billion BTC options, justifying the pullback in Bitcoin price.

Likewise, ethereum (ETH) price shed 1.29 percent to reach $3,160. With this decrease in price, the market capitalisation of ETH has reached $370.3 billion. Similarly, XRP shed 2.13 percent to reach $1.12. The market capitalisation of XRP stands at $111.5 billion after this decrease.

Following the suit, the price of cardano (ADA) reached $2.78 with a 3.87 percent decrease. —TLTP
