ISLAMABAD – Customers of Allied Bank Limited (ABL) are facing problem while accessing online banking services and mobile app due to a major disruption in the backend infrastructure.
The outage has reportedly brought several digital and physical banking channels to a standstill, leaving customers unable to carry out routine financial transactions or access their accounts through normal channels.
The myABL mobile banking application on both Android and iOS platforms, along with the myABL Internet Banking website, is reportedly unavailable.
Customers attempting to access the mobile application are receiving a “Network Request Failed” message.
The disruption has also affected myABL WhatsApp Banking and local ATM services. Meanwhile, customers trying to contact ABL’s helpline at 111-225-225 are reportedly experiencing dropped calls or difficulties connecting.
Several transaction-related services are also being affected. Customers are unable to complete interbank and internal fund transfers, while attempts to transfer money into ABL accounts through external platforms are reportedly unsuccessful.
Users are also facing problems receiving verification SMS messages and one-time passwords required for transaction authorization. Debit card payments at point-of-sale terminals and online purchases are likewise being declined, according to the information provided.
ABL has reportedly acknowledged the disruption through a push notification to customers, describing the situation as “service degradation” and saying its teams are working to restore services.
Customers have been advised to avoid making repeated login attempts while the issue is being addressed.
