LAHORE – Pakistani singer Aima Baig has triggered renewed speculation about her relationship status after responding to an Instagram post suggesting that she had described herself as “single.”
Baig reshared an Instagram story referring to a caption that claimed the singer had indicated her relationship status as single. Rather than rejecting the claim, she responded with a brief message: “The truth 100%.”
The cryptic response quickly drew attention on social media, with users interpreting it as a possible indication of a change in her marital status. Some fans went further, claiming that the singer had effectively confirmed her separation, although Baig did not explicitly announce a divorce or provide any details about her relationship.
The development has once again brought attention to longstanding rumours surrounding Baig and fashion designer Zain Ahmad.
The couple reportedly married in August 2025. Their relationship came under scrutiny a few months later after Ahmad reportedly unfollowed Baig on Instagram and wedding-related photographs disappeared from his account.
The move sparked widespread speculation that the couple had separated. Ahmad subsequently addressed the rumours, explaining that the disappearance of his Instagram content was linked to a technical issue involving archived multimedia on his account.
The speculation resurfaced later in November 2025 when Baig temporarily deactivated her Instagram account while Ahmad’s profile remained active.
Baig eventually returned to social media and appeared in a video with Ahmad, which helped ease speculation about a possible rift between the two.
Her latest Instagram activity, however, has once again prompted questions among followers. While her response appears to acknowledge the “single” description, she has not publicly provided a detailed explanation or formally announced the end of her marriage.
Until Baig or Ahmad issue a direct statement, the nature of their current relationship remains unclear, with much of the discussion continuing to be driven by social media speculation.
