South Waziristan Chairman DEDAC and PTI MPA Wana Naseerullah Khan Wazir has said, that the pace of development work in South Waziristan should be accelerated, slowness and lapses in development projects will not be tolerated under any circumstances,All departments should improve their performance.
He expressed these views while addressing a meeting held at the Political Compound Tank, the officers of all the line departments of South Waziristan participated in the meeting and reviewed the annual performance of all the departments.
Addressing the meeting, PTI MPA and Chairman DEDAC Tribal District of South Waziristan said that any shortcoming in the pace of development work will not be tolerated and South Waziristan will be made a model district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He said that the flood affected people in South Waziristan should be paid the compensation of their houses soon so that after the terrorism, the tribes affected by the rains and floods can settle in their areas peacefully.
He emphasized on improving health, education and roads in South Waziristan Chairman DIDAC said that special attention should be given to agriculture and livestock sector in South Waziristan, dairy farms should be active while distribution of animals should be done fairly.
He issued orders to speed up work on approved grid stations for South Waziristan including providing free electricity to South Waziristan from the royalty received from Gomalzam Dam.
He also instructed to speed up the activities in the sports sector to save the youth from addiction while also conducting campaign against addiction. He said that in all these sectors, he has given huge amount of money which the concerned departments should ensure distribution on merit.
