Corona claims 21 lives infects 727 in a day

Pakistan on Thursday reported 21 deaths in the last 24 hours from the novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to 281,863. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 6,035.
According to the latest figures by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) 727 persons have been tested positive for COVID-19 in 24 hours.
Sindh remains the worst-hit province by the pandemic in terms of cases followed by Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Islamabad. Till now 122,373 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 93,847 in Punjab, 34,359 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 11,793 in Balochistan,15,141 in Islamabad, 2,234 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 2,116 in Azad Kashmir. Furthermore 2,245 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Sindh, 2,162 in Punjab, 1,215 in KP, 136 in Balochistan, 167 in Islamabad, 55 in GB and 55 in Azad Kashmir.
