Pakistan People’s Party Punjab parliamentary leader Syed Hassan Murtaza has said that PTIMF government has completely failed in all sectors, there was a demand to make petrol cheaper, not to make it rare adding that diesel was not available earlier and now petrol is also not available in the market.
In a statement issued on Monday, the PPP leader said that petrol price right now in the world is the cheapest, while in Pakistan it has been made to disappear by the mafia. The real culprit behind the theft of sugar, flour and now petrol is the mafia around the prime minister, he added.
He deplored the government has failed to compel companies to ensure the supply of petroleum products. Hassan Murtaza raised the question that so far no action has been taken against the petrol mafia, what is OGRA doing? He demanded that ‘big wigs’ of OGRA should resign.
He maintained that failure to ensure availability of patrol after reduction in prices of petroleum products is a failure of the government and a success of the mafia.
Imran Niazi while in opposition on container used to say if pious and honest person becomes the ruler, people would line up and pay taxes.
Now in a so-called honest government installed through selection, people are queuing up to find petrol. Due to non-availability of petrol, people are in a dilemma, he concluded.
