RAWALPINDI – Former Prime Minister and PTI supremo Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi met lawyer Barrister Salman Safdar, who lamented short time to discuss the pending cases and legal matters in detail.
In a statement on social media, Safdar said jail authorities arranged meeting with the PTI founder and his wife, Bushra Bibi, at 4:30pm following repeated applications and persistent requests. The meeting marked his first access to Khan in seven months and to Bushra Bibi in 11 months, according to the lawyer.
Safdar said both briefed him on their health and living conditions inside the prison. They also issued fresh instructions concerning their ongoing cases and other legal affairs. He did not disclose the specific instructions or provide further details about the couple’s health and prison conditions.
The lawyer said the approximately 40-minute session fell short of the time needed for a comprehensive review of all their legal matters, leaving limited room for detailed consultation after the prolonged gap in meetings.
