Diesel Price Crosses Rs400 Mark Again Petrol Stays Unchanged

ISLAMABAD – Diesel consumers face another increase in fuel costs from October 30, 2026, while petrol prices remain unchanged under the government’s latest revision.

According to the notification, high-speed diesel will sell for Rs400.67 per litre after an increase of 85 paisa from Rs399.82. Petrol remains at Rs377.91 per litre. The latest adjustment follows increases in both fuels a day earlier. For October 29, petrol rose by Rs1.85 per litre, while diesel increased by Rs1.75, according to Business Recorder.

Despite several increases during October, petrol remains below its opening rate of Rs387.40 per litre. At Rs377.91, it is Rs9.49 cheaper than on October 1

International oil markets, meanwhile, moved lower on Thursday as expectations of renewed US-Iran diplomacy eased some concerns about Middle East supply disruptions. Brent crude traded at $114.92 a barrel, down 40 cents or 0.35%, while US West Texas Intermediate fell 66 cents or 0.64% to $102.12. These were intraday quotations rather than closing prices
