OLED screen
An OLED display can switch individual pixels off, producing deep blacks and strong contrast. This could make films, photographs and other visual content look more striking. For photographers and video editors, the practical value will depend on Apple’s final specifications for brightness, colour accuracy, HDR performance and display calibration.

OLED may also improve efficiency in some situations, but it does not automatically guarantee longer battery life. Screen brightness, software and workload will still affect endurance.

Touch is expected to become an additional way to operate the Mac. Users could potentially tap controls, scroll through pages and use gestures directly on the display. The keyboard and trackpad would continue to handle typing and precise navigation.
