Pakistan Army Silences Afghan Taliban Guns With Heavy Artillery Fire At Angoor Adda

SOUTH WAZIRISTAN – Afghan security forces opened unprovoked fire on Pakistani military border posts in the Angoor Adda area of South Waziristan, prompting a swift and forceful response from the Pakistan Army.

According to security sources, Afghan forces stationed at border posts inside Afghanistan targeted Pakistani positions using sniper fire, small arms and heavy weapons.

In response, Pakistani security forces launched an immediate and effective counteroperation, targeting several Afghan Taliban border posts, mortar positions and defensive installations with small and heavy weapons, including artillery fire. Security sources claimed that the intense retaliatory action by Pakistani troops forced Afghan Taliban fighters to abandon their positions and flee.

The sources further maintained that Pakistani security forces remain in full control of the border areas and are fully prepared to respond decisively to any further aggression.
