KARACHI – A private budget airline of Uzbekistan is set to launch direct flights between Tashkent and Karachi, expanding its operations in Pakistan.
The airline said the new service will begin on September 3, with four weekly flights operating between the two cities.
It said flights C6-565 and C6-566 will operate between Tashkent and Karachi every Thursday and Sunday, offering options of direct flights between the two countries to passengers.
The new route is expected to strengthen tourism, business links and people-to-people connections between Pakistan and Uzbekistan.
Centrum Air was launched on January 18, 2023, in Uzbekistan’s capital, Tashkent. The airline has expanded its operations in a short period and currently operates a fleet of 16 aircraft, connecting 56 destinations across 18 countries.
The airline has already been operating direct flights between Tashkent and Lahore since April 21, 2026. With the addition of Karachi to its network, Centrum Air has further expanded its presence in Pakistan’s aviation market.
Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia’s newly launched Riyadh Air has announced the launch of direct flights to Pakistan, with operations set to begin on August 14, aiming to strengthen air connectivity between the two countries.
According to the airline, the initial phase of operations will include direct services to Islamabad and Lahore. Riyadh Air will operate one daily flight to Islamabad and three weekly flights to Lahore.
