The Regional Inter-District Senior Tournament 2026-27 in the Bahawalpur and Faisalabad Regions will begin on Sunday, April 5, the PCB announced on Wednesday.
The tournament will feature a total of 111 teams divided into 16 regions across the country, with a pool of over 1,000 players ready to showcase their skills.
The inter-district tournament in Abbottabad, FATA, Peshawar and Rawalpindi will begin on April 7 and in Dera Murad Jamali on April 8. In Multan, the tournament will get underway on April 13, in Quetta on April 16 and in Karachi on April 20.
Schedules for the remaining regions will be confirmed in due course, while the tournament commenced in the Larkana region on April 1.
Quetta, Faisalabad, Sialkot and FATA will employ a two-pool format, with the pool winners progressing to a final to determine the regional champion. The remaining 12 regions, Abbottabad, AJK, Bahawalpur, Dera Murad Jamali (DMJ), Hyderabad, Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Larkana, Multan, Peshawar and Rawalpindi will compete in a single-league round-robin format.
The Regional Inter-District Senior Tournament serves as a key pillar of the PCB’s domestic cricket structure, providing district-level cricketers across the country with competitive three-day cricket and preparing them for the four-day tournaments.
