RAWALPINDI – Pakistan Navy and China’s PLA Navy conducted SEA GUARDIAN IV exercise to strengthen maritime cooperation and operational coordination. The exercise featured a five-day visit to Karachi followed by two days at sea in the North Arabian Sea.
During the port visit, Chinese ship DAQING was welcomed by PNS TAIMUR. The crews participated in ship tours, orientation sessions at naval facilities, professional discussions on maritime challenges, and the first-ever Young Officers Seminar.
At sea, both navies carried out drills including air defense against multi-directional threats, submarine-assisted operations, conventional naval warfare exercises, and live gunnery training.
The exercise concluded with a joint patrol in the Arabian Sea, highlighting the commitment of both navies to regional maritime security and stability.
