ISLAMABAD – Some relief for consumers, as government announced reduction in LPG prices. According to the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), the price of a domestic LPG cylinder will drop by Rs. 69.44, bringing it down to Rs. 2,378.89 from October’s Rs. 2,448.33.
Per-kilogram LPG rate has been cut by Rs. 5.88. These new, wallet-friendly rates will take effect from November 1, 2025, offering a much-needed break to households across the country.
This move is being hailed as a major win for families struggling with rising household costs.
Expected Petrol Price
Petrol and high-speed diesel (HSD) prices are set to rise by around Rs 1.5 per litre from Friday for the first half of November due to slight changes in international oil rates.
In previous price, petrol increased by Rs 10 per litre and diesel by Rs 20 per litre.
Petrol mainly affects household budgets, while diesel impacts transport and agriculture, contributing to higher prices of goods. Kerosene and light diesel are also expected to rise. Current government levies add around Rs 98 per litre to petrol and diesel, even though GST is zero on these fuels.
