Deputy Commissioner Sialkot Dr. Nasir Mehmood Bashir has said that 5,440 persons coming from abroad in Sialkot district have been quarantined for 28 days in their homes under the Punjab government’s Track, Trace and Quarantine Policy Including their families, this number becomes 31,297.
In a meeting Dc Sialkot further said that Random test sampling of house quarantined persons was also done. He said So far a total of 3,179 people will be tested for corona, out of 2237 tests received, 238 people were found to be infected with corona while 315 test reports on waiting list.
He said In Sialkot district, 7 people have been died so far due to Corona and according to SOP, and smart lockdown has been carried out in residential areas of Islamabad Mohallah, Mianpura, Daska Kalan, Sambarial, Dobarji, Badiana and Nikapura.
DC Sialkot Dr. Nasir Mahmood Bashir told that in the last 24 hours, 82 results were received and the results of 64 cases were positive.
