Governor Sindh, Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori, commended Qatar’s active involvement in the Gaza ceasefire agreement, recognizing it as a pivotal step toward regional peace. To honor Qatar’s efforts, the Governor presented a bouquet and sweets to Qatar’s Consul General, Nayef Shahein R.M. Alsulaiti, during their meeting at the Qatar Consulate.
Upon arrival, the Consul General and diplomatic staff warmly welcomed Governor Tessori. In his address, the Governor highlighted the enduring and strengthening bilateral relations between Pakistan and Qatar, underscoring the significant role Qatari investments have played in alleviating poverty and reducing unemployment in the region. The Governor urged Qatari investors to explore and capitalize on the promising opportunities within Sindh’s various sectors.
He stressed that the province offers numerous lucrative investment prospects that could further enhance economic growth. The meeting also focused on Pakistan-Qatar bilateral relations, with discussions revolving around increasing trade, fostering investment opportunities, and other vital matters.
The Consul General, Nayef Shahein R.M. Alsulaiti reiterated Qatar’s support for Pakistan’s economic growth and its strategic defense position within the region, expressing a commitment to further collaboration for mutual benefit.
