IT minister vows to strengthen cyber security, digital ecosystem

ISLAMABAD – Minister of State for IT and Telecommunication, Shaza Fatima Khawaja has reiterated government’s commitment to strengthen cyber security and digital ecosystem.

During a meeting with Global Human Rights Policy Lead for Meta, Miranda Sissons, she underlined need of ensuring availability of quality content on social media platforms.

Shaza Fatima Khawaja said online safety is a significant challenge requiring collective efforts to address online threats.

The Minister of state also highlighted growing risks associated with online threats in today’s digital age, particularly for children and young people.
