ToshaKhana Case II
It started with Bulgari jewelry set gifted to Bushra Bibi during her Saudi Arabia visit in May 2021, including a ring, bracelet, necklace, and earrings. An investigation revealed that Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi illegally retained the jewelry, failing to deposit it despite a directive from Toshakhana to assess its value.
The jewelry set was valued at Rs750million with significant undervaluation leading to a loss of Rs32,851,300 to the national treasury. The couple is accused of violating the NAB Ordinance 1999, specifically sections related to illegal retention and undervaluation.
