ADELAIDE – Fast bowler Naseem Shah is set to rejoin Pakistan’s squad for the second One-Day International (ODI) against Australia on November 8 after a brief injury scare in the series opener.
Naseem experienced cramps during his eighth over in the first ODI, forcing him to exit the field without completing his spell.
However, team sources have confirmed that the young pacer has fully recovered and is now fit to play.
After undergoing a complete training session, Naseem successfully bowled without experiencing any discomfort, alleviating concerns over his fitness. His return is expected to bolster Pakistan’s bowling attack as they aim to level the series.
