Federal board postpones intermediate exams scheduled for Oct 18

ISLAMABAD – The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) has postponed the papers of intermediate second annual examination 2024 scheduled for October 18.

The board has issued a notification in this regard as students protests in Rawalpindi and other cities continue against alleged rape incident at a private college.

“Due to current situation the papers of HSSC 2nd Annual Examination, 2024, scheduled for Friday 18 October 2024 have been postponed in all Examination Centers for FBISE including abroad,” read the notification.

FBISE said that revised schedule for the postponed papers will be notified and issued separately, adding that all other papers will be held as per already notified schedule.

Earlier, the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore announced the postponement of papers after the government declared holiday for schools, colleges and universities amid protests.
