MULTAN — Kamran Ghulam made an impressive start to his Test career, scoring a century on his debut against confident England in the second game of three-match series.

The 29-year-old scored 102 runs, after captain Shan Masood returned to pavilion early. Ghulam showcased his skills by hitting eight boundaries and one maximum.

He faced a close call in the 63rd over when a flick towards mid-on almost led to a catch by Ben Duckett, who was unable to hold on. The cricketer from KP had a successful first-class career, with 4,377 runs in 59 matches, including 16 centuries and 20 half-centuries.

Befiore the game, he mentioned being extremely thrilled for Test debut. He also credited his development to years of hard work in domestic cricket, emphasizing that it took him 14-15 years to reach this milestone.
