RAWALPINDI – A convoy led by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, headed for the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) protest at D-Chowk in Islamabad, on Saturday reached near Rawalpindi.

The heavy shelling is underway by the police in the Thatha Khalil area of Taxila.

The protesters are responding by throwing stones back at the police and returning the shells.

After fierce resistance, The PTI demonstrators managed to overcome obstacles at the Pather Ghar Katti hill.

In response to the PTI protest, the military units have been deployed behind what the government authorities said troublemakers, and Gandapur’s convoy would spend the night at Bahattar.

Around 800 PTI workers have entered the limits of Rawalpindi.

The main convoy is currently clearing obstacles at Pather Ghar Katti, with participants walking side by side.

At the 26 Number Chungi, the workers set fire to a crane and a motorcycle.

Earlier in a statement,  Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur said that Imran Khan is their red line, and they would not back down from their goals.

Chief Minister Gandapur emphasized that they would stand for truth and justice, pointing out that Allah dislikes arrogance the most. He added that even Pharaoh exhibited arrogance, yet it was in his home that Prophet Moses was born.
