LAHORE – Punjab Information Minister Azma Bokhari said that some audio calls of members of specific parties have surfaced, indicating that they are planning to incite unrest.
In her statement regarding PTI’s Lahore rally, Azma Bokhari stated that the court did not grant PTI permission to hold a rally in Lahore.
The court directed the Deputy Commissioner to decide whether or not to grant permission for the rally.
The Deputy Commissioner and other law enforcement agencies are holding meetings on this matter.
She mentioned that some audio calls of members of a specific party have emerged. In these audio calls, PTI members are planning to incite unrest.
The past record of this “Tehreek-e-Fasad” is well-known.
These individuals, she said, under the guise of a rally, aim to spread terrorism and unrest in the country.
The minister said that no one would be allowed to spread chaos under the cover of political activity.
Azma Bukhari further said that the government neither stopped nor would stop any political or religious party from holding rallies or processions.
Even Maulana Fazlur Rehman held a rally in Lahore recently.
What happened at the Islamabad rally is also clear to everyone, she added.
