ISLAMABAD – The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) used to issue alerts to save the consumers in Pakistan from fraudulent activities while buying mobile phones.
It has also shared massive information regarding mobile phone registration besides educating people in order to protect them from illegal activities which can deprive them of their hard-earned money.
The authority has also shared some rules which should be kept in mind at the time of buying mobile phones from any market in Pakistan.
One of the most things before buying the mobile phone is to check the status of the device you are purchasing from Pakistan.
On its official website, PTA has elaborated how a common can also check the status of the device before making payment to buy it.
How to Check Status of Mobile Phones
There are three different ways to check/verify status of mobile device(s).
SMS: Write the 15-digit IMEI as a message to 8484
Check status of the device via web https://dvs.pta.gov.pk/
Check status of the device via an android app (DVS)
