Hyundai is expected to introduce the facelifted 7th generation Elantra with a hybrid powertrain, potentially including a sporty N variant. The anticipated prices are around Rs11 million for the hybrid model and Rs17million for the N variant.
Kia is likely to launch the 5th generation Sportage, with pricing around 1.05 crore PKR, though engine specifics remain unclear. There’s also speculation that Pak Suzuki might introduce the Suzuki Every with a 660cc mild hybrid engine, priced at approximately 26 lacs PKR, though this remains uncertain.
Additionally, Deepal, a fully EV brand under Changan, will debut in Pakistan on August 16, 2024, through Master Motors, which also handles Changan in the country. Deepal will introduce two models: L07, a C-segment EV crossover priced at Rs17 million, and the S07, a D-segment sedan, also expected to be around same figure.
BYD is expected to penetrate Pakistani market with launch of three models: BYD Dolphin, an EV hatchback priced at Rs90 lacs; the BYD Atto 3, and the BYD Sealion 6.
