LAHORE – Chicken meat rates in Lahore, and Punjab cities as the meat reached near Rs485.
The meat price moved up amid a rise in demand nearly a month after Eid, in which consumption of other meat increased.
Data shared by local traders shows price of broiler chicken meat per kg at Rs 483. During the last 3 days, broiler chicken meat has become expensive by Rs 99 per kg.
Meanwhile, live broiler has been fixed at Rs321 per kg in wholesale and Rs333 per kg in retail. Price for eggs per dozen is stable at Rs 250.
