KARACHI KPT handled 115570 metric tonnes cargo at Karachi Port during the last 24 hours. Breakup shows that the port handled 82603 metric tonnes imports cargo while the exports handling remained at 32967 metric tonnes. KPT has handled 7423 metric tonnes of Rock Phosphate, 2288 metric tonnes of Ammonium Sulphate, 4285 metric tonnes DAP and 5862 metric tonnes Di Ammonium Phosphate DAP as dry cargo imports besides imports and exports container handling at the three private sector terminals of the port and the handling of 4044 metric bulk cargo exports by KPT. The liquid bulk cargo imports handling 17200 metric tonnes have taken place at the port during the period.
