Inspector General of Punjab Police, Dr. Usman Anwar, commended the police teams from Lahore and Multan for safely rescuing abducted children from the clutches of criminals and reuniting them with their parents. The teams were encouraged with commendation certificates and cash rewards. According to details, the Lahore police team successfully rescued a nine-day-old abducted child from the Nishtar Colony area within a short span of 48 hours. The criminals, Imran, Babar, Sheeza, and Sneha, were arrested using advanced technology. Similarly, Multan police team recovered two-and-a-half-year-old Muhammad Haseeb, who was abducted from the Sital Mari police station area. The culprit, Nabeela Bibi, was arrested and strict legal action was ensured against her. IG Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, praised both police teams for safely handing over the children to their parents.
IG Punjab awarded appreciation letters, certificates, and cash rewards to DIG Operations Lahore Muhammad Faisal Kamran and his police team. Commendation letters were also given to SSP Operations Tasawar Iqbal and Additional SP Operations Ikhlaq Ullah Tarar. Commendation certificates of appreciation were awarded to Sub-Inspectors Muhammad Faheem, Muhammad Jameel Shahid Iqbal, ASI Muhammad Amjad Javed, and Constables Muhammad Afzal and Shahid Anwar.
IG Punjab awarded appreciation letter to CPO Multan Sadiq Ali Dogar, SSP Operations Arslan Zahid, SSP Investigation Rana Muhammad Ashraf, and ASP Anam Tajammul SDPO New Multan, similarly commendation certificates were given to Sub-Inspector Umar Farooq, TSI Muhammad Sajid Ashraf, Constable Muhammad Imran, and Lady Constable Uzma. IG Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, instructed the police teams to continue the crackdown with dedication and full responsibility to suppress crimes.
