LAHORE – Pakistani singer and actor Daniyal Zafar, popularly known as Danny Zee, has announced a temporary break from his professional activities, describing the decision as his “breaking point”.
Daniyal Zee, who is younger brother of renowned singer Ali Zafar, shared an Instagram story in which he revealed that he had been working almost continuously for the past two years, travelling extensively and remaining occupied with shoots, live shows, album recordings and other professional commitments.
Daniyal said managing two professions simultaneously had been extremely challenging and had taken a toll on his health and energy levels.
Sharing a picture of himself receiving an intravenous (IV) drip, the singer said he had been advised to prioritise his health above everything else for the time being.
His announcement suggests that the demanding pace of his professional life has prompted him to step back and focus on his well-being.
Daniyal, who has pursued both music and acting, has not specified how long the break will last or when he plans to resume his professional activities.
