The Pakistan Muslim League-N on Wednesday deliberated on the upcoming budget for the next fiscal year, vowing to take all possible steps to ensure relief for the general public.

Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, federal ministers including Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, Sardar Awais Khan Laghari, Attaullah Tarar, Rana Tanvir Hussain and others were present there.

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and Senator Pervaiz Rashid also took part in the meeting which lasted for three hours. The sources said that the secretaries of different departments were also present in the meeting. “The party leadership decided to take every possible step to provide relief to the general masses in the upcoming budget,” said the sources.
