The gathering, centered on the theme of “Challenges in the field of education and the role of universities,” witnessed impassioned calls for reform and the urgent appointment of vice-chancellors across 18 universities in the province. One of the central demands echoed by participants was the swift appointment of vice-chancellors to revitalize the performance of universities.
