PESHAWAR – Rain-wind-thunderstorms and gusty/dust-raising winds are expected in parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Sunday evening/night, Monday and Tuesday.
As per the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), continental air prevails over most parts of Pakistan. A shallow westerly wave prevails over northern parts of the country.
Under these conditions, mainly dry weather is expected in Peshawar and most parts of Pakhtunkhwa on Sunday evening/night and the following two days. Gusty/dust-raising winds are expected in plain areas of the province during this period. However, rain-thunderstorms are likely at isolated places in Kurram, Chitral, Swat, Dir, Kohistan and Balakot.
Peshawar’s maximum temperatures will likely remain between 32-34 degrees Celsius on Monday and 40-42 C on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, partly cloudy/dry weather prevailed in Peshawar and most parts of the province during the last 24 hours. Rain occurred in upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.

Dera Ismail Khan remained the hottest place in the province where the maximum temperature was recorded at 36 C. Relative humidity during the morning was recorded at 58 per cent.
In Peshawar, maximum temperature was recorded at 31 C. Relative humidity during the morning was recorded at 60 per cent.
