New Delhi-installed administration has imposed curfew-like restrictions in Ramban district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, on the eve of the upcoming Indian Lok Sabha election for the Udhampur Parliamentary Constituency, strict restrictions have been put in place by the District Magistrate Ramban, Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, under section 144. The polling for the constituency will take place on 19th of April.

“Gatherings of five or more persons are strictly prohibited throughout the district, except at designated polling stations during polling hours,” reads an order.

The District Magistrate Ramban has restricted the entry of outsider political functionaries, and imposed a ban on the use of loudspeakers in the district with effect from today.—KMS
