SFA initiates hygiene awareness campaign

The Sindh Food Authority has initiated a comprehensive awareness campaign aimed at educating individuals involved in the food industry about the importance of adhering to hygiene standards at the grassroots level.
Director General of the Sindh Food Authority, Agha Fakhar Hussain, highlighted the regulations and protocols established by the authority during interviews on various electronic media platforms. He emphasized that all individuals engaged in food-related businesses must obtain a license from the Sindh Food Authority, as mandated by law.

Director General Agha Fakhar Hussain underscored the importance of compliance with the Sindh Food Authority Act, stating that those who deliberately evade obtaining a license will face legal repercussions under the said act. Furthermore, he mentioned that the Sindh Food Authority is committed to providing training opportunities to individuals who may not be familiar with the regulations outlined in the act. According to Director General Hussain, fostering a healthy society necessitates widespread awareness about hygiene principles among the public.

Additionally, individuals involved in the food industry must possess knowledge about food safety protocols and proper food handling practices. The mass awareness campaign launched by the Sindh Food Authority aims to promote a culture of hygiene and safety within the food industry, ultimately contributing to the well-being of the community at large.
