Rawalpindi – Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Sahir Shamshad Mirza — who is currently in Saudi Arabia, called on Kingdom’s Minister of Defence, Prince Khalid Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud and discussed matters of bilateral strategic interest and regional security.
Pakistan’s senior military leader and the Saudi defence minister discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations especially military cooperation in the meeting.
General Sahir Mirza felicitated Saudi defence minister for holding successful World Defence Show in Riyadh which speaks of Kingdom’s commitment to becoming a global hub for the defence industry.
CJCSC inaugurates Pakistan’s Pavilion at World Defence Show
General Sahir Shamshad inaugurated the Pakistani pavilion at second edition of the World Defence Show in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
More than 773 exhibitors including Pakistan alongside numerous government entities and leading local and international companies in the defence and security sector attended the show.
Over dozen Pakistani companies displayed their products including drones, missile system, in the show.
Furthermore, CJCSC also interacted with General Fayyadh bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili, Chief of General Staff KSA and Lieutenant General Fahad bin Abdullah AL-Muter, Chief of Royal Saudi Land Forces, KSA.
