LAHORE – In a much-anticipated revelation, the International Cricket Council (ICC) has unveiled the Men’s One Day Team of the Year for 2023. The prestigious lineup features notable cricketing talents, with Indian batsman Rohit Sharma assuming the role of team captain.

Surprisingly, no Pakistani cricketer has secured a spot in this esteemed roster.

The Indian contingent dominates the lineup, with the likes of Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, Mohammed Siraj, Kuldeep Yadav, and Mohammed Shami securing their places based on their stellar performances throughout the year.

Australia’s Travis Head and Adam Zampa have also earned well-deserved spots, showcasing their consistent contributions to the game.

Moreover, the team boasts representation from other cricketing powerhouses, including New Zealand’s Daryl Mitchell, South Africa’s Heinrich Klaasen, and Marco Jansen.
