The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has strongly denounced the custodial killing of three innocent civilians by the Indian Army in Poonch district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the civilians, Safeer Hussain, Mohammad Showkat and Shabbir Ahmed were arrested by Indian troops during a cordon and search operation and killed in custody in the Bafliaz area of the district.
The APHC spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said the killing of innocent civilians in custody by Indian troops has become a routine matter in occupied Jammu and Kashmir and urged the international community to take cognizance of the war crimes being perpetrated by the troops in the occupied territory.
Meanwhile, the spokesman of Jammu and Kashmir Pir Punjal Freedom Movement, Umar Mughal and vice Chairman Qazi Imran in their joint statement, condemning the killing of four innocent citizens of the occupied territory, said the Indian government has given a free hand to the Indian terrorist army to kill the Kashmiri people in occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
All Parties Hurriyat Conference leaders Farida Behanji in a statement in Srinagar expressed concern over the increasing brutal actions of the Indian army in occupied Kashmir and urged the international community to take immediate notice of Indian state terrorism against peaceful Kashmiris.
She said India’s cruel actions will never succeed in suppressing the freedom spirit of Kashmiris. She added that the ground facts related to Kashmir could not be changed by the decision of the Supreme Court of India.

Meanwhile, APHC-AJK Convener Mehmood Ahmed Saghar in a statement in Islamabad expressed serious concern over the custodial killing in Poonch district and termed the current situation in the territory as most volatile after the rapid surge in target killings, arbitrary arrests and human rights abuses with impunity by Indian troops and secret agencies.
He said the Indian forces have let loose a reign of terror in every nook and corner of the besieged territory and demanded of the United Nations to take cognizance of the critical situation of IIOJK where over a million people have been made hostage by more than one million Indian forces and have been deprived of their fundamental rights.—KMS
