In order to plan an organised operation against illegal commercialisation, Lahore Development Authority (LDA) will carry out a survey of illegal commercial activities.
The decision was taken in a meeting chaired by LDA DG and Commissioner Muhammad Ali Randhawa here Wednesday. In the meeting, reports on the ongoing illegal commercial activities on nine model roads were presented.
Chief Town Planner I Sidra Tabassum and Chief Town Planner II Azhar Ali presented the reports of their respective directorates. In the meeting, the DG directed for conducting a detailed survey of the ongoing illegal commercial activities and submitting a report.
DG Ali Randhawa directed that recovery from LDA’s commercial fee defaulters should be ensured in every case with strict monitoring.
