CRPF soldier dies of cardiac arrest in Shopian

A 32-year-old Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) soldier died of a cardiac arrest in the Wachee area of Shopian district, today.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the soldier, identified as Jai Prakash of the 246 battalion, lost consciousness at the Wachi CRPF camp and was swiftly transported to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him dead. In the meantime, the police have initiated an inquiry into the incident.—KMS
