IIOJK HaC quashes PSA detention of five persons

The High Court of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir has quashed the illegal detention of five persons, booked under draconian law, Public Safety Act (PSA). The court quashed the PSAs of Muzaffar Ahmad Rather, Asif Ahmad Lone, Bilal Ahmad Lone, Bilal Ahmad Dar and Nazir Ahmad Sofi, residents of Yaripora, Kulgam, Rampora, Bandi-pora, Heff, Shopian and Baramulla.

They were detained by the respective District Magistrates on April 8, 2022, June 25, 2022, July 14, 2019, October 20, 2021 and February 7, 2023.—KMS
