A deadly car-van collision in Buner district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Wednesday left half a dozen people including female dead and thirteen others seriously wounded. The accident, as the reports reaching here said, took place when a motorcar collided with a passenger van while negotiating a sharp turn. The vehicle was travelling from the Shakolai area of Shangla to Swari.
Upon receiving the information, rescue teams and the local police reached the scene to provide immediate assistance. The victims of the accident were transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment where the medics pronounced six people including a woman dead. The authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.
